Our practice is dedicated to providing affirming, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapy services for all sexualities. We specialize in serving BDSM couples, polycules, and relationships of all kinds. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.

Are you struggling with communication? Feeling stuck? Experiencing disconnection in your romantic or sexual relationships?

Our Relationship Therapy can help you address these challenges and more.

We understand that it can be challenging to find a therapist who can relate to your unique experiences as someone who may be in romantic or sexual relationships that are not simply vanilla or monogamous. Our services are designed to serve all kinds of relationship structures, especially those those who are Kink, ethically non-monogamous (ENM) or engage in practices outside of the cis-het-mono-vanilla normative paradigm.

If one or more of you are struggling with aspects of their sexuality, such as sexual desire discrepancy or difficulty to orgasm, consider exploring our Sex Therapy service options.

Polyamory and ENM Relationships

At Transform Psychotherapy, we understand that polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous individuals face unique challenges when it comes to their sexual and intimate relationships.

We offer specialized sex therapy services designed to help these individuals navigate those challenges and find fulfillment in their relationships.

Our polyamory and non-monogamy therapy services focus on addressing issues such as jealousy, communication breakdowns, and boundary-setting. We use evidence-based approaches that emphasize open and honest communication, mutual respect, and consent.

We are well-versed in the complexities of polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships and are committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore and express their sexuality. We believe that everyone has the right to a fulfilling and satisfying sexual life, regardless of their relationship style, and we are committed to supporting our polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous clients every step of the way.

Dyads and Monogamous Couples

Discover how we can help you and your partner thrive in your relationship, regardless of whether you’re a dyad, a monogamous couple, or any other type of committed partnership. Our specialized services are designed to address the unique challenges that arise in your sexual and intimate lives.

Our experienced team has adapted tried-and-true interventions for heterosexual monogamous couples to fit all types of committed relationship structures. We understand that you and your partner have your own unique preferences and desires, and we’re here to help you navigate them in a healthy and fulfilling way.

We believe that relationship structures and sexual orientation are both deeply ingrained aspects of who we are. Just like sexual attraction, there is no one “right” way to structure your relationship. What matters most is that you and your partner are committed to building a strong and lasting bond. So let’s work together to create the intimacy and satisfaction you deserve

We understand the unique challenges faced by those in the BDSM lifestyle and strive to provide an informed and supportive space for all individuals. Our therapists are equipped to help clients navigate their unique needs, as well as help them develop healthy practices for processing emotions and managing stressors.

For couples looking to explore power dynamics within their relationship, we offer guidance on consensual play with communication tools such as negotiation scripts and boundary setting exercises. For polycules seeking support with navigating complex dynamics between multiple partners or co-parents, we can help develop effective communication strategies while also exploring each individual’s needs at a personal level.

No matter where you are on your journey, our team is here to provide meaningful support tailored to your specific situation in order to help you find balance, harmony, and connection in your relationships.

Our therapy approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) developed by Dr. Sue Johnson.

We also embrace the principals of Attachment Theory, and especially love the groundbreaking book Polysecure by Jessica Fern.

These theories explore patterns of thoughts and behavior in each partner and helps identify obstacles that may be contributing to dysfunctional cycles that reinforce the relationship’s challenges. By building skills to overcome these obstacles, you and your partner(s) can work together to strengthen your connection and create a united front.

We will work with you to build stronger relationships with yourself and your partner(s).

We can work together to discuss goals specific for your needs, identify your communication cycles, and learn how to name and maintain boundaries and relationship agreements so all partners feel safe and supported.
