Service Fees

Free Services:

• Consultation: A meeting to get to know you and your goals, and decide if we are a good fit. This will be held in person or through videocall. Even if we decide it is best we don’t work together, you will walk away with a list of resources, referrals, and a brief, professional recommendations on what services would likely best fit your needs. 

Fee-based Services:

Services are billed based on units of 15 min increments rather than per specific service. The standard rate for all of our services is $55 per unit (15 min of service)

• Meet and Greet (30 minutes)
• Intake Screening/Diagnostic Interview (75 minutes) 
• Psychotherapy (30+ minutes)
• Diagnostic Assessment (90+ minutes)
• Gender Affirming Care Support Letters (30+ mintues)

What’s Included?

• Meet and Greet:
  • A meeting to get to know you and your goals, and decide if we are a good fit. This will be held in person or through videocall. Even if we decide it is best we don’t work together, you will walk away with a list of resources, referrals, and a brief, professional recommendations on what services would likely best fit your needs. 
  • If you do choose our services, the fee for this service will be used as a credit toward your Intake or Diagnostic Assessment.
• Intake Screening:
  • A detailed review of your personal history, identification of current difficulties and strengths, and professional recommendations for treatment. This is only for those that elect out of using any OON benefits.
• Diagnostic Assessment:
  • Same as the Intake Screening, with the addition of a formal mental health disorder diagnosis that meets medical standards, which may be helpful to receive other services (e.g. gender affirmation intervention, medication management.) You also must have a full diagnostic assessment if you choose to use your OON benefits.
• Psychotherapy:
  • In-person or video sessions that focus on developing a treatment plan that meets your personal goals and lived experience. This may include EMDR, DBT Skills, and/or other Trauma-informed evidence based practices.
• Gender Affirming Care Support Letters
  • We provide thorough assessments of Gender Dysphoria and follow all of the necessary criteria outlined by the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) and have assisted many folks in writing professional letters of support for obtaining medical interventions. At Transform Psychotherapy, we understand that insurance can be confusing, which is why we are proud to offer a variety of options to make our services as accessible as possible. 

Insurance

We're thrilled to announce that, through our partnership with Headway, we can now accept insurance! This means that many of you may be able to access our services with lower out-of-pocket costs.

Note: Please keep in mind that insurance coverage and benefits can vary depending on your specific plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your coverage and any out-of-pocket costs you may incur.

Out-Of-Network Benefits 

Even if you aren't in-network, many commercial plans offer reimbursement for our services if you have out-of-network benefits. We can even help you make these claims through our fantastic service called Mentaya. You deserve to get all the benefits your insurance is supposed to provide you and we want to make sure you do.

Verify your OON Benefits

Medicare and Medicaid

Unfortunately, we are not in-network with any Medicare and Medicaid plans at this time. Sliding scale is the most appropriate choice for interested clients on Medical Assistance (in Minnesota: MnSure). See below for more information.

At Transform Psychotherapy, we believe that everyone should have access to quality therapy. That’s why we are proud members of Open Path Collective. Our sliding scale fee slots are perfect for clients who want to prioritize their mental health but are concerned about the cost.
